Greenbriar Gates & Garage Doors has been repairing and installing garage doors around Parma since 2018. Anthony Shaw started the company with a simple idea: show up when you say you will and do the job right the first time. That approach hasn't changed. Most calls come in for doors stuck open or shut, broken springs, off-track doors and openers that quit, and the team usually gets back to customers within a few hours, not days. Same-day service is common for anything urgent, like a door that won't close or a car trapped in the garage.
The work covers both residential and commercial jobs, from routine garage door repair and maintenance to full installations of new doors, openers and replacement panels. A lot of customers are homeowners dealing with worn-out rollers, cables or openers that give out in bad weather, but the crew also handles commercial properties that need reliable overhead doors. Anthony still checks in on bigger jobs personally. After this many years serving Parma, the goal is still the same: fair pricing, honest answers about what actually needs fixing, and doors that work when you need them to.
We also still take on gate repair and gate opener work as a smaller side service for customers who already know us.
Meet the manager
Anthony Shaw has spent over 15 years working in the trades, starting out as an installer before working his way up to running the day-to-day operations at Greenbriar Gates & Garage Doors. He has handled everything from small residential garage door repairs to larger commercial door installations, so he knows the ins and outs of what makes a garage door work well and last long term.
What keeps Anthony going is pretty simple: he likes solving problems and making sure customers are not left dealing with a door that does not work right. He takes the time to explain what is going on with a repair or an install, answers questions honestly, and does not try to upsell folks on things they do not need. Customers can expect straightforward communication, fair pricing, and someone who actually shows up when he says he will.

How we approach the work
- Durability over quick fixes. A repair should outlast the season. If a part keeps failing because of something upstream — springs too light for the door, a track out of plumb — you hear about it, and you decide.
- Honest answers. Plenty of doors we look at need a roller or a cable, not a new opener or a new door. You are told what actually needs fixing and what can wait.
- Built for here. Cleveland winters snap tired springs, freeze bottom seals to the slab and stiffen old grease. Parts and settings are chosen with February in mind.
- Safety is not optional. Photo eyes aligned and the auto-reverse tested on every opener we install or repair. See our process and standards.
- Clear pricing. A price before the work starts, and a written estimate for anything bigger than a service call.
Homes, shops and warehouses
Most customers are homeowners: a spring that broke on a cold morning, rollers worn flat, a frayed cable, an opener that gave out in bad weather, or a door that has finally earned its replacement. The crew also handles commercial properties that need reliable overhead doors — shops, warehouses, storage buildings and service bays, where a door that will not open can cost a working day.
