A Parma gate company built on one idea: show up when you say you will, and do the job right the first time.

Greenbriar Gate Services has been fixing and installing gates around Parma since 2018. Anthony Shaw started the company after years as an installer, tired of seeing gates that were built to be sold rather than to last, and customers who waited days for a callback about a gate stuck open. The company still runs on those two complaints: we call back within hours, and we build things properly.

Most of our calls come from homeowners — a sliding gate that will not budge, an opener that died in the cold, a driveway gate sagging after the spring thaw — and we usually see those the same day. The rest is commercial work: apartment communities, contractor yards and storage lots that need access control and a gate that survives hundreds of cycles a day. Anthony still checks in on the bigger jobs personally.

Meet the manager

Anthony Shaw has spent over 15 years in the gate and fencing industry, starting out as an installer before working his way up to running the day-to-day operations at Greenbriar Gate Services. He has handled everything from small residential repairs to larger commercial gate systems, so he knows what makes a gate work well and last long term.

What keeps Anthony going is simple: he likes solving problems and making sure customers are not left dealing with a gate that does not work right. He takes the time to explain what is going on with a repair or an install, answers questions honestly, and does not try to upsell people on things they do not need. Customers can expect straightforward communication, fair pricing, and someone who actually shows up when he says he will.

How we approach the work

• Durability over quick fixes. A repair should outlast the season. If a part is failing because of something upstream — a shallow post, an undersized operator — we say so, and you decide.
• Honest answers. Plenty of gates we look at need a $60 roller, not a new operator. We tell you what actually needs fixing and what can wait.
• Built for here. Cleveland winters heave posts, salt eats steel and ice fills tracks. Everything we install is chosen with February in mind.
• Safety is not optional. Automated gates are installed to UL 325 with monitored safety devices, every time, on every property. See our process and standards.
• Clear pricing. Free estimates, a price before the work starts, and a written quote for anything bigger than a service call.

Insurance and standards

Greenbriar Gate Services carries liability insurance for the work we do on your property, and automated gate installations follow the UL 325 operator safety standard and the ASTM F2200 gate construction standard. Where a city requires a fence or gate permit we tell you up front and prepare what the application needs. We are happy to provide proof of insurance to property managers and HOAs before a job starts.
