Greenbriar Gate Services wants every customer to be able to read this site, find our phone number and send a service request, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use. This page explains what we have done, what standard we aim for, how we check, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. WCAG is the widely used international standard for accessible websites; level AA is the level most laws and policies refer to. We treat it as the minimum for every page we publish, not a one-time project.

What we have done

• Keyboard use. Every link, button, menu, form field and tool works with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a visible focus outline. A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing the keyboard reaches on every page.
• Structure. Pages use proper landmarks (header, navigation, main content, sidebar, footer), one main heading per page and an ordered heading outline, so screen readers can jump through them. Breadcrumbs show where you are.
• Text and contrast. All text, including text on buttons and colored bars, meets the AA contrast ratio. The site uses real text (no text in images), scales with your browser's text size and works at 200% zoom and on narrow phone screens without sideways scrolling.
• Images. Every photo has a written description of what it shows; the logo is described by name.
• Forms. Every field has a visible label, required fields are marked, error messages are written out and announced, and the confirmation message is announced and receives focus after you send the form. The form also works with JavaScript turned off.
• Tables. Hours, comparisons and specifications are in real tables with header cells, so screen readers can read them cell by cell.
• Tools. The opener sizing guide, the ZIP checker and the troubleshooting guide use standard controls, announce their results, and have a text alternative that does not need JavaScript.
• No motion, no surprises. There are no animations, carousels, autoplaying media, pop-ups or time limits. Links that open the phone dialer or an email are labeled as such.
• Touch. Links and buttons in lists and menus meet the minimum target size on touch screens.

How we test

Accessibility checks run automatically every time the site is built and before it is published: the Lighthouse accessibility audits (which include the axe rule set) on every page in both desktop and mobile modes, HTML validation with accessibility rules, and a structural check for headings, image descriptions and link targets. A page that fails is not published. We also review pages by hand with a keyboard and at high zoom. Automated tools cannot find every problem, which is why the next section matters.

Known limitations

We are not aware of any part of the site that is inaccessible. The site has no PDF documents, no video and no third-party embedded content. If a future page adds any of these, we will provide an accessible alternative on the same page.

Technical details

This site is built with standard HTML and CSS, uses a small amount of JavaScript only for the menu on small screens, the forms and the tools, and is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari, including their built-in zoom and reader modes, and with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver. It does not depend on any third-party script.
